Job Description
Web SEM Online is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Paid Media Specialist to join our growing remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with one year of experience to level up their skills across both Google Ads and Social Media advertising in a fast-paced agency environment.
As a junior "all-rounder," you will be the right hand to our senior team, assisting with the day-to-day operations of diverse client accounts. If you are data-curious, eager to learn, and ready to dive into the world of multi-channel PPC, we want to hear from you.
Job Details:- Position: Fully Remote
- Type: Full-Time (with initial probation period)
- Remuneration: R18,000 – R25,000 per month (CTC), based on experience
- Bonus: Annual performance bonus at Director’s discretion
- Experience: Approximately 2 year of hands-on experience in digital marketing (specifically PPC/Paid Social).
- Foundational Knowledge: A basic understanding of how Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) function.
- Toolbox: Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Certification: At least one valid Google Ads Certification.
- Communication: Strong English verbal and written skills (you’ll be helping with ad copy!).
- Attitude: A "can-do" mindset with a hunger to learn and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Assessment: Willingness to complete a short practical task to show us your logic and basic technical skills.

- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics (including GA4).
- Familiarity with Google Shopping and Merchant Center.
- Data analysis and reporting expertise using Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with Remarketing/Dynamic Remarketing.
- Knowledge of other PPC platforms (e.g., Bing, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Tertiary qualification in a related field or discipline.
- Solid skills in mathematics/statistics.
- Basic SEO knowledge, including keyword research and onsite/offsite SEO experience.
- Familiarity with industry-related software.
