Job Description
Company Description
OneCare is an early-stage health SaaS startup bridging the gap between patients and clinicians. Our mission is to reduce information asymmetry in healthcare, starting with high-need markets in Africa and expanding globally. We're in active beta testing NOW and need passionate people to help validate and shape the product from day one.
Role Description
We're seeking volunteer clinicians (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, or other healthcare professionals) and care-takers to test our platform in real-world workflows. This is a fully remote, unpaid volunteer opportunity with flexible hours (suggested 5–15 hrs/week). Your feedback will directly influence features, improve usability for clinician-patient relationships and help us build traction for funding with top performers potentially transitioning to paid roles or equity discussions later.
Key Responsibilities
- Test the platform in your daily clinical practice (and simulated with 5-10 patients). If a caretaker or latient, test with your clinicians.
- Provide honest feedback on features, workflows, usability, and clinical relevance
- Report bugs, suggest improvements, and share real-life use cases (especially in resource-limited settings)
- Participate in short feedback sessions or surveys (e.g., 30–60 min calls every 1–2 weeks)
- Help validate that the tool truly reduces information gaps between patients and clinicians
Why Join as a Volunteer?
- Gain hands-on experience in health tech / digital health innovation
- Build your portfolio, network, and resume with meaningful impact
- Contribute to solving real healthcare challenges in underserved African regions (and beyond)
- Receive references, testimonials, and shout-outs for your contributions
- Potential for paid opportunities or equity as we secure funding and scale
- Fully remote
