Senior Azure Systems Administrator

BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator 5 for an opportunity with our client.

Job Title: Systems Administrator 5

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Fully Remote

Candidate Requirements:

“The ideal resume would demonstrate strong Azure systems administration experience, a flexible and adaptable mindset, and experience building tools or automation (e.g., scripting) to improve efficiency and free up engineering capacity.”

Summary:

The Systems Administrator is responsible for proving, designing, documenting, and scripting cloud infrastructure in the Azure Portal. Decisions and development should be handled in a non-disruptive manner and when necessary, using duplicate systems to test out new scenarios. Leverage an in-depth understanding of ARM/BiCep templates to make a scalable cloud development system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• 10+ years’ experience required

• Proven work experience as a system or network administrator

• Azure portal administration via BiCep scripts and ARM templates

Preferred qualifications:

• Layered BiCep templates and scripts to easily manage multiple resource groups

• Experience with Kubernetes clusters and container management

• License server setup, deployment, and maintenance

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:

1)Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Administration in Azure

2) Minimum 5+ years of experience in Containers

3) Minimum 5+ years of experience in Network Security
