Job Description


This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Our client is an established ecommerce infrastructure company operating in the custom gifting and print-on-demand space. The platform enables ecommerce sellers, creators, and online stores to build and sell customized gift bundles without holding inventory. By combining print-on-demand production with fulfillment and branded packaging, the company allows sellers to create unique products and ship them directly to customers. With more than 200 customizable items available across the platform, the company’s mission is to become the “gifting operating system of the internet,” empowering online sellers to easily create, bundle, and distribute personalized gift products.

Role Overview

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for designing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies that improve user onboarding, engagement, and retention. This role focuses heavily on email marketing, CRM automation, and user journey optimization, ensuring that sellers who join the platform are properly educated, activated, and encouraged to continue using the platform to grow their businesses. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will build lifecycle funnels that guide users from first interaction through long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Lifecycle Marketing & User Journeys

  • Design and implement lifecycle marketing strategies that support user onboarding and retention
  • Build automated communication flows for new user onboarding, activation, and engagement
  • Develop lifecycle campaigns that educate sellers on how to successfully use the platform

Email Marketing & CRM Management

  • Create and manage email campaigns, including onboarding flows, product updates, and feature education
  • Build automated sequences such as welcome series, nurture campaigns, and engagement campaigns
  • Manage and optimize CRM segmentation to deliver targeted messaging

Conversion & Engagement Optimization

  • Analyze user behavior to identify opportunities to improve onboarding and retention
  • Conduct A/B testing on messaging, subject lines, and email flows
  • Optimize lifecycle funnels to increase activation and repeat platform usage

Data & Performance Tracking

  • Track lifecycle marketing performance metrics including open rates, engagement, activation, and retention
  • Provide reporting and insights to help refine lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to improve user experience and communication flows

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2–4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or CRM marketing
  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms, SaaS tools, or digital marketplaces preferred

Skills

  • Strong experience with email marketing platforms and CRM tools
  • Understanding of user lifecycle funnels and customer journey optimization
  • Experience running segmentation strategies and automated marketing workflows
  • Analytical thinker with a strong data-driven mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to translate product features into clear and engaging user communication
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or entrepreneurial environment
