Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Required Skills & Experience

-8 to 10 years of experience as an architect

-Recent Healthcare Insurance experience (understand PHI/PII, claims, payor, provider, etc.)

-Proven experience designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

-Strong ability to translate business requirements into features and stories and supporting program leadership with the implementation road map actionable technical roadmaps and user stories, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to interpret the product roadmap and upcoming Program Increments (PIs), with a strong understanding of other priorities, while supporting standing up and maturing the program.

-Excellent communication skills with a track record of producing clear architectural documentation and effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Able to conduct market research prior to supporting project – using AI agents and other useful market tools to be successful

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Demonstrated success in modernizing legacy systems and integrating internal applications within complex enterprise environments.

-Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Google Pub/Sub or Kafka, and Splunk, with proficiency in Node.js, Python, SQL, and JavaScript

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled senior cloud solutions architect to sit fully remote but work east coast time zone. This Cloud Solutions Architect will be supporting the commercial business operations. This role is essential in bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution within a complex environment of legacy systems and modern cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, translate high-level concepts into actionable roadmaps and user stories, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing both high-level and detailed solution designs, documenting current-state architectures, and proposing scalable, future-state improvements. Working primarily within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to Azure and AWS, you will support the integration and modernization of internal applications. This role also involves creating and maintaining architecture roadmaps, estimating development efforts, and ensuring solutions align with business goals. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to produce clear documentation and effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation:

$45/hr. to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
