SYSTEMS ENGINEER
CDP, Inc. is a premier provider of data management systems and services for the public health community including the Special Supplement Program for Women, Infant, and Children (WIC). CDP is searching for an experienced Systems Engineer with strong Azure cloud administration expertise to help design, operate, and develop our next-generation public health platforms. Our company develops software for state, local, and federal government health agencies. Responsibilities:Â
- Perform requirements analysis and design infrastructure solutions spanning on-premises and Azure cloud environments
- Plan and perform complex network, server, and cloud infrastructure implementations
- Administer and optimize Azure resources, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and security services
- Support hybrid architecture integrating on-premises systems with Azure cloud services
- Conduct technology assessments and recommend product and supplier selections
- Review, implement, and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
- Perform maintenance and administration of enterprise network, server, and cloud platforms, including after-hours support as needed
- Support highly available, resilient, and scalable infrastructure designs
- Troubleshoot access, performance, and communication issues across a variety of environments
- Manage documentation and operational procedures for infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Provide internal and external customer support and communicate technical solutions clearly
- Plan, test, and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Support and execute cloud migration initiatives, including planning, implementation, and transition to steady-state operations
- Ensure the security of both cloud and on‑premises datacenter environments by implementing strong governance, monitoring, threat protection, and compliance practices.

Minimum Qualifications:Â
- 3+ years experience maintaining and monitoring enterprise server and infrastructure operations
- 3+ years experience building and supporting corporate datacenter environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server Administration
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory / LDAP and SQL Server
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Azure administration, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security services (AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate preferred)
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and cloud migration projects
- Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper V)
- Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell or similar)
- SAN/NAS storage administration
- Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity tooling
- SQL Server or other enterprise database platforms
