Key Responsibilities

Lead internal department improvements by developing SOPs, streamlining workflows, and implementing process enhancements
Lead quarterly strategic planning calls to review priorities and set direction for the next quarter
Guide final decision-making for client initiatives in collaboration with technical and specialized teams
Manage and optimize client marketing budgets to maximize ROI and support BME's revenue goals
Monitor brand perception and make strategic adjustments to ensure consistent, positive brand representation
Oversee project timelines with Account Managers to ensure goals are met on time and within budget
Provide mentorship and weekly 1:1 coaching for the fCMO team to support professional growth
Lead Creative Marketing Department huddles every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Sweep Monday.com daily to maintain an organized and efficient workflow

About the Role

BME (Business Marketing Engine) is hiring a Lead Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (fCMO) to join our Creative Marketing Department. In this role, you'll develop and refine data-driven marketing strategies informed by deep market research and emerging trends, then lead our operational teams and collaborate with client partners to drive successful execution aligned with business objectives.


Responsibilities

• Attend weekly and monthly client meetings to address strategy questions, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in BME's services

• Direct and oversee BME's operational teams in executing strategies, campaigns, and deliverables aligned with client objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies for B2C clients, with a proven track record

• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email, PPC, and content marketing

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends and measure campaign effectiveness

• Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex ideas and present them in an engaging, easy-to-understand way

• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize information from high-quality sources

• Experience with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms

• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation

• Ability to adapt to evolving marketing trends and technologies


Compensation & Schedule

• $20.00/hour

• 40 hours per week | Full-time

• 100% Remote
