2. About the Opportunity: The Threat Analyst is a customer-facing consultancy role focused on optimizing the use and value of behavioral biometrics solutions for fraud prevention. This position combines advanced analytics, domain expertise, and strategic advisory to support customers ranging from C-level executives to operational fraud investigators. The role contributes to the organization’s mission by enhancing fraud detection rates, reducing customer friction, and guiding customers toward best practices. The Threat Analyst also influences product strategy by communicating customer insights internally and supports global efforts against digital fraud.
3. Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong relationships with fraud prevention teams within the customer base
- Provide subject matter expertise to help customers achieve strategic fraud prevention goals
- Collaborate with customers and data science teams to improve fraud detection and minimize friction
- Use data-driven methods to validate solution effectiveness in pilot and proof-of-value projects
- Educate potential and new customers on behavioral biometrics and its application to their challenges
- Deploy tactical rules to address acute fraud attacks
- Guide customers toward best fraud prevention practices
- Represent customer feedback internally to influence product development
- Support research on emerging threats, including account takeover, account opening fraud, remote access scams, social engineering, and mule detection
- Deliver fraud detection performance reports and insights
- Share field learnings with sales enablement and contribute to thought leadership in fraud prevention
- Provide subject matter expertise to sales teams to assist with new customer acquisition

4. Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Threat Analyst or Data Analyst
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Experience with fraud departments or fraud monitoring tools in financial institutions
- Experience working within cross-functional teams
- Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL
- Experience with Python and/or R is an advantage
- Understanding of statistical modeling techniques
- Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to build business and customer relationships
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and quick learner
- Professional attitude
- Availability to travel in North America for customer meetings and onsite workshops
