About the Opportunity:

The NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting a large and complex data network infrastructure. This role ensures the stability and functionality of production systems, proactively prevents outages, and coordinates cross-functional responses to major incidents. The position plays a critical part in maintaining system performance and operational awareness, contributing to the organization’s reliability and customer satisfaction. This is a remote role based in the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage uptime, stability, and functionality of production systems, including end-to-end troubleshooting
  • Monitor and respond to network operations alerts and follow up on after-hours alerts as needed
  • Analyze system performance to identify risks and optimization opportunities
  • Proactively mitigate outages and prepare escalations to development teams when necessary
  • Coordinate with third-party providers to resolve network and system issues
  • Provide advanced technical support to internal Customer Support teams
  • Design and maintain dashboards and alerting systems for operational visibility
  • Act as a technical liaison for Customer Support and Field Engineering teams, translating business needs into operational requirements
  • Contribute to NetOps process improvements, documentation, and best practices


Requirements:

  • Strong experience in network, cloud, and security architecture
  • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, firewalls, and proxy servers
  • Ability to analyze system and application logs for root cause identification
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex network and system incidents
  • Experience in Cloud or SaaS technology environments
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting findings and cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and incidents in a fast-paced environment
