Job Description
We’re looking for a senior growth strategist to design and lead a connections-led growth system across Afterpay's B2B marketing ecosystem. This role will define how channels, journeys, data and teams work together to drive measurable outcomes across acquisition, conversion and activation.
You’ll own the development and operationalisation of our connections strategy — translating ambition into clear growth journeys, orchestrated execution plans and a prioritised roadmap across paid, web, lifecycle, ABX, product and analytics.
This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of strategy, operations and performance. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, product, sales and analytics, as well as agency partners, to align execution around a single growth system.
What You’ll Own
Growth Journey Design (Core Accountability)
- Define and continuously evolve the priority B2B growth journeys (e.g. net-new acquisition, mid-market acceleration, enterprise ABX, activation & expansion)
- Align stakeholders across regions and functions around shared journey frameworks
- Identify friction points and opportunities across the full funnel
- Design connection plays that define how paid, web, CRM, ABX, SEO and product work together across journeys
- Define entry points, transitions, orchestration logic and intervention strategies
- Ensure initiatives ladder into journeys and deliver measurable movement across the funnel
- Translate strategy into a sequenced, cross-functional growth roadmap
- Align priorities across internal teams and agency partners
- Identify dependencies, unblock teams and ensure delivery momentum
