Job Description
ABOUT US
Advocate Media Company builds content engines, runs paid acquisition, and manages full-funnel digital strategy for law firms. We handle everything from scriptwriting and video production to Meta ads, Google Search campaigns, and YouTube optimization.
We focus on one industry and go deep. That lets us build systems that actually drive results, not surface-level marketing.
Our core values: Advocacy, Expertise, Trust, Innovation.
THE ROLE
We're hiring an automation engineer to build the systems that make our team faster.
Your job is simple: If a human does something the same way twice, you make sure they don't do it a third time.
You'll study how our team works, map workflows step-by-step, identify what's manual, and replace it with automation. Then you deploy it, monitor it, and move on to the next bottleneck.
This is not a "build one tool" role. You will move across the entire operation.
Content pipelines. Ad reporting. Internal processes. Client deliverables. If it's repetitive, it becomes your problem.
You won't get perfect specs. You're expected to figure things out, design the system, and ship.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Manual hours across the team drop every month
- Automations run reliably without constant fixes
- Data flows cleanly between systems without manual intervention
- The team moves faster without adding headcount
WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE
Your first project: automate our Repair Order (RO) summary workflow (intake → data extraction → structured output → internal use)
After that, you'll move through:
- Content production pipelines (script → edit → asset matching → export)
- Ad performance reporting (Meta, Google, GA4 → dashboards)
- Internal workflows that currently require manual effort
The pattern stays the same: Understand → Map → Build → Deploy → Monitor → Improve
You'll work async using Loom, Slack, and Zoom. You don't need hand-holding. You need judgment.
