Role Overview

We are seeking PhD graduates in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLP from Top 17 U.S. universities to mentor students exploring advanced careers in AI, research, and high-impact technology roles.

As a mentor, you will provide insight into:

• Career paths in AI and ML (Research Scientist, ML Engineer, Applied Scientist, AI Engineer, etc.)
• Academic pathways including PhD admissions, research positioning, and publishing
• Transitioning from research to industry roles at leading tech companies and AI labs
• Specializations such as deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and generative AI
• Industry expectations for AI-driven roles and research-based positions
• Long-term career development in both academia and industry

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 virtual mentorship sessions with students
• Share insights on AI/ML research, career paths, and industry trends
• Provide guidance on graduate school, research careers, and industry transitions
• Offer real-world perspectives on applying AI and ML in industry and academia

Requirements

• PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or a closely related field
• Graduate of a Top 17 U.S. university (e.g., MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, etc.)
• Currently working in AI/ML research or advanced technical roles in industry or academia
