Summary

• We are seeking a Senior GCP Cloud & Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise-scale cloud ecosystem.
• This role is pivotal in bridging core infrastructure, advanced networking, and modern data analytics.
• You will be responsible for creating "secure-by-default" environments, automating deployments via Terraform, and architecting robust data platforms that support complex migration from legacy on-premise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Networking: Design and manage complex GCP topologies including VPC architecture, Private Service Connect, and hybrid connectivity via Interconnect/VPN.
• Automation (IaC): Develop, modularize, and maintain high-quality Terraform (TFE/Cloud) modules to ensure idempotent and automated infrastructure deployments.
• Data Platform Architecture: Architect modern data solutions leveraging BigQuery, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow, ensuring seamless integration with hybrid/on-prem sources like Teradata or Hadoop.
• Security & Governance: Enforce IAM least privilege, implement KMS, and design VPC Service Perimeters to meet enterprise compliance and security standards (DLP, tokenization).
• Optimization & Reliability: Align designs with SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs) to ensure high availability across multi-zone/multi-region topologies while maintaining cost governance.

• Strategic Leadership: Produce HLD/LLD documentation and lead design reviews with Enterprise Architecture and InfoSec teams to align cloud strategy with business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 05+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture, specifically on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Terraform, GCP Networking, and the Google Data Stack (BigQuery/Dataplex).
• Migration: Proven track record of migrating large-scale on-prem workloads (SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop) to GCP.
