About The Role

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team on a part-time basis, supporting a UK-based client focused on enhancing their website experience and performance. This fully remote role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work on exciting projects within the eCommerce and D2C sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing engaging, user-centered websites, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving user journeys. You will collaborate closely with marketing and development teams to create intuitive interfaces, optimize conversion rates, and ensure a seamless digital experience for end-users.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2-3 years of UI/UX design experience, particularly within eCommerce or direct-to-consumer platforms, is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is required. The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and user behavior analytics. Experience working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is preferred, along with familiarity with UX audits and usability testing methodologies. A strong portfolio showcasing previous website designs, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows is necessary to demonstrate your expertise. Additionally, experience in healthcare, dental, or wellness sectors would be considered a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for various website pages and features, ensuring a user-centric approach.

• Enhance user experience across key website sections including the homepage, product pages, checkout process, and subscription flows to maximize engagement and conversions.
• Collaborate with marketing and development teams to implement design improvements aimed at increasing conversion rates and user satisfaction.
• Identify friction points within the user journey through data analysis and user feedback, proposing effective, data-driven solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive UX audits and usability testing to identify areas for improvement and optimize overall website performance.
• Maintain design consistency across all digital touchpoints, ensuring brand standards are upheld throughout the website.
• Work closely with developers to facilitate the smooth implementation of designs, providing necessary assets and guidance.
• Support the creation and refinement of landing pages for marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
