Maslow's client is a multi-award-winning institution transforming higher education through innovation and digital-first learning. They're seeking a Head of Infrastructure & Platforms to lead their cloud strategy during a critical period of growth.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll manage a team of three engineers while driving the evolution of a complex multi-cloud environment. You'll play a pivotal role in migrating and modernising cloud-based platforms—primarily to AWS—and orchestrating seamless data integration between the student records system and Arden's in-house learning platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Infrastructure Platforms team to design and deliver scalable, resilient cloud solutions
• Driving cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Architecting and implementing data integration pipelines between core university systems
• Championing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
• Ensuring operational resilience through Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Managing vendor relationships and external service providers

What You'll Need

• Strong architectural experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven track record leading and developing technical teams
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, automation, and modern DevOps toolchains
• Experience with middleware, ESB, and data orchestration between enterprise systems
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical delivery
