Position Summary

The Segment Marketing Manager – Data Center is responsible for owning and advancing the company’s go-to-market strategy for the data center and digital infrastructure business segment, including hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and emerging AI-driven facilities. This role serves as the voice of the market—translating customer needs, electrical architectures, regulatory constraints, and innovation trends into actionable strategies that drive product alignment, demand generation, and commercial success.

This position requires deep familiarity with data center electrical systems, power-availability challenges, and next-generation architectures such as 800VDC distribution, solid-state transformers (SSTs), and evolving grid-to-chip requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Segment Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on data center power infrastructure, including utility interconnection, medium- and high-voltage equipment, redundancy architectures, and resiliency requirements.
  • Track and communicate macro and micro trends impacting the segment (AI load growth, grid congestion, supply-chain constraints, regulatory pressures, sustainability targets).

Customer & Ecosystem Understanding

  • Develop a deep understanding of data center customers and influencers, including:
  • Hyperscalers and cloud service providers
  • Colocation operators
  • EPCs, AE firms, and design consultants
  • Utilities and interconnection stakeholders

Product & Portfolio Alignment

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to:
  • Inform product roadmaps based on segment needs and future electrical architectures
  • Provide market input on equipment availability constraints, capacity planning, and lead-time mitigation
  • Support innovation planning related to 800VDC systems, SSTs, modular substations, advanced cooling, and digital monitoring

Messaging, Positioning & Content

  • Develop and maintain segment-specific messaging frameworks, value propositions, and solution narratives
  • Guide the creation of technical and commercial content including:

  • Develop competitive insights related to technology differentiation, capacity claims, delivery timelines, and reliability positioning
  • Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for leadership

Required Qualifications
