Job Description
Western Governors University (WGU) is looking for individuals to participate as Subject Matter Experts for our Applied AI Engineering fact-check project. This position is 100% remote.
Subject Matter Experts provide valuable real-world knowledge and experience to the development of the courses we offer our students. This is a part-time/project-based position, where you would work with WGU as an Independent Contractor.
Subject Matter Experts MUST meet the following criteria:
- Masters in CS, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
- Previous or current experience as an AI Engineer.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the software engineering, computer science, or data science field is essential, including hands-on experience with various projects and technologies.
- Specialization in AI topics such as: Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, etc...
- Skills in full product integration for AI products.

Project Information
Dates: ASAP to 5/22 (Subject to slight change)

Time commitment: Approximately 20 Hours.
Compensation: $1,500.00
Other compensation and benefits: This position is for an independent contractor and is not eligible for other compensation or benefits.

Meetings/Workshops: Six 1-hour meetings.
