Launched in 2020, MedTech World began as a bold initiative to position Malta as a bridge connecting startups, investors, service providers, and thought leaders in the Medical and HealthTech space. Fast-forward five years, and we've evolved into a global platform, with operations now spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.


Today, MedTech World operates at the intersection of Events, Media, Capital, and Innovation.


In addition to our four global summits per year, we run a growing digital media and content platform, including:


  • A high-traffic global website
  • Weekly newsletters distributed to our international ecosystem
  • Sponsored interviews and feature articles
  • Banner and display advertising
  • Dedicated email campaigns
  • Quarterly digital publications (4 editions per year, aligned with each global summit)


The Role 

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join our team in Malta. This is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will be the right hand to our Head of Marketing, helping drive audience growth, campaign performance, and conversion across all our global events. 


This is not a role for someone who only thinks at 30,000 feet, nor for someone who only executes. We need both in equal measure. You will own the full marketing funnel, from audience segmentation and campaign creation through to conversion optimisation and paid advertising, with a clear focus on results. 


What You Will Be Responsible For 


Strategy and Planning 

  • Develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies aligned to event registration and revenue targets across all four global MedTech World events 
  • Build and manage audience segmentation strategies to ensure the right message reaches the right person at the right time 
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to define quarterly campaign plans, KPIs, and growth priorities 
  • Identify new audience acquisition opportunities across paid and organic channels 


Email Marketing and CRM 

  • Own the end-to-end email marketing strategy, from list segmentation and sequence building to A/B testing, deliverability, and performance analysis 
  • Manage and optimise HubSpot workflows, pipelines, and automation to support lead nurturing and conversion 
  • Develop personalised communication sequences for different audience segments, attendees, speakers, sponsors, and investors 


Paid Advertising 

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads 
  • Manage advertising budgets effectively, with a strong focus on ROI and cost per acquisition 
  • Continuously test creative, copy, and audience targeting to improve campaign performance 


Campaign Creation and Conversion 

  • Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns from concept through to execution 
  • Analyse campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements 
  • Collaborate with the content, social media and design teams to ensure all campaigns are on-brand and conversion-focused 


Reporting and Optimisation 

  • Own marketing performance reporting, track, analyse, and present key metrics to the Head of Marketing on a regular basis 
  • Use data to make informed decisions and continuously improve conversion rates across all touchpoints 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and platform changes to keep our marketing competitive 


What We Are Looking For 


Experience and Background 


  • 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation, ideally within events, media, or a fast-paced B2B environment 
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results across email marketing, paid advertising, and audience conversion 
  • Experience working in a senior individual contributor or right-hand role within a marketing team 
  • Comfortable operating at both a strategic and executional level, you can build the plan and deliver it 

 

Tools and Platforms 

  • HubSpot: Advanced proficiency in CRM, workflows, automation, and reporting 
  • Meta Ads: Campaign management, audience targeting, and optimisation 
  • LinkedIn Ads: B2B/B2C campaign strategy and execution 
  • Google Ads: Search, display, and performance campaigns 
  • Strong proficiency in analytics tools and marketing dashboards 


Skills and Attributes 

  • Strong analytical mindset, you make decisions based on data, not instinct alone 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously 
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes ownership without being asked 
  • Collaborative by nature, you work well with creative, sales, and leadership teams 
  • A genuine interest in healthcare technology, innovation, or the events industry is a plus
