Product Owner/Manager for Pharmacy Platform Development

Position Details
- Fully remote, CST core working hours

What You’ll Do
Own a Development Pod:
- Lead a pod consisting of a Tech Lead, 3–4 developers, and a QA engineer
- Own a dedicated product swim lane within the overall platform development
- Ensure features and stories are well-defined and prioritized
Define Pharmacy Workflows:
- Translate pharmacy operations into technical requirements
- Design workflows supporting the full prescription lifecycle, including:
- Order scheduling
- Prescription dispensing
- Pharmacist screening
- Fulfillment and shipping
- Operational hold queues and exception handling
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure workflows reflect real-world pharmacy operations

Manage the Product Backlog:
- Maintain strong story hygiene and ensure tickets are properly tracked
- Work with engineering teams to ensure Epics, Features, and Stories progress correctly
- Use Azure DevOps dashboards and Agile reporting tools to track progress
Collaborate Across Teams:
- Partner with engineers, QA, Scrum Masters, and project leadership
- Coordinate with pharmacy stakeholders and operational teams
- Support change management and product rollout initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager within Agile teams
- Experience supporting software development teams and managing product backlogs
- Ability to translate complex workflows into technical requirements and user stories
- Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with engineering teams building complex systems

Highly Preferred

This role will own a dedicated development pod responsible for designing and delivering core pharmacy workflows within the system. The Product Owner will work closely with developers, QA, pharmacists, and operational stakeholders to ensure the platform accurately supports real-world pharmacy operations.
The system is currently in its final development phases, with the goal of reaching code completion later this year, followed by a change management and rollout period before go-live. This role will also help drive the product backlog and future enhancements after launch.
