We service the upstate of South Carolina, Northeast Georgia and Western North Carolina. The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports our growing general contracting Division . This role is responsible for managing the full cycle recruiting process while also maintaining accurate employee training, certification, and compliance records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, people-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for general contracting roles, including Managers, field operations, supervisors, and office support positions.
  • Proactively source and build pipelines of qualified construction talent through referrals, job sites, trade associations, community events, and industry networks.
  • Partner with operations and leadership to understand project demands, workforce planning needs, and seasonal hiring requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local trade schools, colleges, apprenticeship programs, workforce development organizations, and community partners
  • Act as a company ambassador in the community, promoting our organization as a great place to work by showcasing our safety culture, career growth opportunities, project variety, and team environment.
  • Enhance recruitment advertising strategies across construction job boards, social media, and local outreach channels to meet hiring goals and attract high-quality candidates.
  • Track recruiting metrics, hiring progress, providing regular updates and insights to leadership to support
  • Project staffing success.


Training & Compliance Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate employee training records, certifications, licenses, and safety documentation.
  • Develop and coordinate internal and external training sessions as needed.
  • Align training sessions and calendar with company needs, position requirements, and career
  • advancement.
  • Continuous development of training program to advance knowledge and skills of all employees in
  • technical and soft skills.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable state and federal
  • regulations.
  • Prepare training and compliance reports for audits, bids, and client requests.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, or recruiting; construction industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of training documentation, compliance tracking, and employee record management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with ATS systems, spreadsheets, and document management tools
  • Understanding of South Carolina and Federal employment practices
