Tanium Administrator / Operator (Active Secret Clearance Required)

We are seeking a Tanium Administrator / Operator to support a defense agency environment focused on secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations. This role requires hands-on experience with the Tanium platform, supporting endpoint security, compliance tracking, and IT hygiene initiatives within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Tanium Platform Management: Deploy, configure, and administer Tanium modules for asset discovery, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and patching
• Compliance Monitoring: Track and report system/network compliance aligned with DoD standards (e.g., STIGs, NIST, RMF)
• Endpoint Security: Monitor endpoint health, investigate vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation across enterprise environments
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work through Jira ticketing
• Reporting & Documentation: Develop dashboards, compliance reports, and technical documentation; escalate issues as needed
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium (Interact, Patch, Deploy, and/or other modules)
• Experience supporting endpoint security, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
• Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks (STIGs, NIST, RMF)
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Jira
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional Tanium modules (Comply, Asset, Discover, Threat Response)
• Background supporting classified or government environments
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and enterprise IT infrastructure
