The Network Engineer (Mid-Level) supports the stability, security, and performance of TP’s global network infrastructure. This role focuses on firewall administration, data center environments, and enterprise network operations across multi-country environments. The position requires solid hands-on experience in NGFW technologies, production troubleshooting, and secure network operations within high-availability environments.

What will your responsibilities be?

Network & Security Operations

• Manage incidents, service requests, and infrastructure changes under defined SLAs.

• Provide administration and troubleshooting of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), primarily Palo Alto and FortiGate.

• Implement and maintain security policies, hardening standards, and access control frameworks.

• Support LAN / WAN / WLAN enterprise environments in production settings.

Data Center & Infrastructure Support

• Support Data Center network environments, including Cisco ACI architectures.

• Execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.

• Perform troubleshooting in live production environments while minimizing business impact.

• Contribute to maintaining high availability across global operations.

Collaboration & Global Support

• Interact with network providers and technology partners to coordinate changes and resolve incidents.

• Participate in technical meetings and support global infrastructure initiatives.

• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure inventories.

• Support multi-country GBS operations aligned with corporate standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in enterprise network and security environments.

• Certifications (Must):

• PCNSE – Palo Alto
• DCACI – Cisco ACI
• CCNA

• Strong hands-on experience in:

• Palo Alto Firewalls (enterprise environments)
• FortiGate Firewalls (NS4 / NS5 level preferred)
• Enterprise LAN environments
• Advanced troubleshooting in production environments
• Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocols and network security controls

• English level: B2 or higher (mandatory).

• Availability: Rotating shifts, including night shifts (24/7 operation).

• Location: Colombia. 100% Remote
