About Fini
Fini is a YC and Matrix-backed AI platform that automates up to 80% of support tickets with 98% accuracy. We process over 1 million tickets monthly for fintech, SaaS, and marketplace companies including Fortune 500s and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001 compliant.
About the role
We're looking for a Backend Developer who writes clean code, thinks about scale, and takes pride in building systems that don't break. This is a full-time remote role where you'll work on the core infrastructure powering Fini's AI platform.
Compensation: 60 LPA fixed + ESOPs
What you'll do
- Build, maintain, and optimize server-side logic and APIs that power Fini's core product
- Integrate backend systems with frontend solutions and third-party platforms like Zendesk, Salesforce, and HubSpot
- Design scalable, high-performance backend processes that handle millions of support interactions
- Write clean, well-tested code and conduct thorough debugging
- Implement security and data protection measures in line with SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product teams to ship reliable software

What we're looking for
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages
- Solid understanding of OOP principles and software design patterns
- Experience with database management systems and building RESTful APIs
- Ability to design and optimize scalable backend architecture
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Basic frontend understanding to collaborate effectively across teams
- CS degree or equivalent practical experience
