About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Frontend Developer to join our team on a temporary basis to cover parental leave for approximately 10-12 months. In this role, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to and shape our frontend structures, working on complex applications based on JavaScript frameworks. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI experts to translate design concepts into functional, responsive interfaces that enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include integrating external APIs, designing, implementing, testing, and documenting new features, and optimizing existing codebases. Additionally, you will participate in A/B testing initiatives alongside the product team to continually improve our applications. This position offers an exciting chance to work on innovative projects within a supportive team environment, making a tangible impact on our product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of CSS. Experience with PHP is advantageous. You should have been involved in larger JavaScript projects utilizing Vue.js and Nuxt.js, demonstrating your ability to support sustainable development practices. Prior experience with Mobile First and Responsive Design principles is essential. Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Node.js, and package managers like NPM or Yarn is required. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes is a plus. Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is necessary. You should be a reliable, proactive, and engaged team player who values clear communication and collaboration. A keen eye for design and attention to detail will help you excel in this role, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet user expectations.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include developing sophisticated frontend applications based on JavaScript frameworks, translating design concepts into functional interfaces in collaboration with UX/UI teams, and integrating external data sources through APIs.
