We are hiring a Network Technician Lead to own physical network infrastructure supporting GPU clusters. This role focuses on fiber, connectivity, and ensuring high-performance communication between AI workloads.
What You’ll Do
- Act as L3 escalation point for network and cabling-related issues
- Troubleshoot fiber connectivity (faults, transceivers, patch panels, light levels)
- Perform testing and validation (VFL, OTDR, power meters)
- Execute structured cabling repairs and remediation
- Validate connectivity and performance post-repair
- Maintain documentation and escalate to network engineering as needed
- Support high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity for GPU clusters

What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with fiber (single-mode, multi-mode) and cabling standards
- Hands-on experience with fiber testing tools (OTDR, VFL, power meters)
- Data center experience in high-availability environments
- Ability to troubleshoot physical-layer issues independently
- Experience with high-speed optics (100G+) or GPU environments is a plus
