Pride Health is looking Data Engineer to support our client’s medical facility which is 100% remote

Job Type: Data Engineer

Duration: 52 weeks Contract with possibility of extension

Location: 100% remote

Rate: $55 to $60/hr on W2

Job Summary

Skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data systems. This role involves accessing and analyzing enterprise-wide data, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and developing robust data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Assemble large and complex datasets to meet business requirements
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and troubleshooting to support business needs
• Develop and optimize data architectures and data flow processes
• Implement data transformation and data integration workflows
• Support batch and near real-time data ingestion processes
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives
• Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and data optimization
• Research and integrate new data sources
• Monitor, log, and maintain data systems for performance and reliability
• Ensure timely resolution of data issues and queries

Technical Responsibilities

• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure (including Microsoft Fabric)
• Build and manage data pipelines using SQL and Python
• Use Terraform (IaC) for cloud provisioning and automation
• Optimize cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery partitioning and clustering)
• Configure data ingestion, integration, and processing services
• Support CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Assist in data modeling and database performance tuning
• Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, unions, troubleshooting)
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing
• Experience with GCP and cloud-based data platforms
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline development
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
• Experience in data analysis, profiling, and data quality management
• Problem-solving skills with focus on root cause analysis
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
