Senior IGA Architect

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced IGA Architect to design and deliver scalable Identity Governance & Administration solutions. This role will lead transformation initiatives, define identity strategies, and ensure secure, compliant access management across enterprise systems using platforms such as SailPoint or Saviynt.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end IGA solutions using platforms such as SailPoint or Saviynt.
• Lead modernization and transformation initiatives within the IGA domain.
• Define and implement identity lifecycle processes, including joiner-mover-leaver workflows.
• Develop access models, role-based access controls (RBAC), and policy frameworks.
• Integrate IGA platforms with enterprise applications, directories, and cloud systems.

• Translate business and security requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and project teams.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application owners, and business stakeholders.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
• Drive continuous improvement, solution optimization, and adoption of industry best practices.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and strategic direction for identity and access management.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing IGA solutions (Saviynt or SailPoint preferred).
• Deep understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, including:

Identity lifecycle management

Access certification and governance

Role-based access control (RBAC)

Segregation of Duties (SoD)

• Experience integrating IGA platforms with:

Active Directory / LDAP

Cloud applications (e.g., SaaS platforms)

Enterprise systems (ERP, HR systems, etc.)

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Experience with API-based integrations and identity connectors.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and security frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
