Database Administrator

Database team is providing Database expertise to the different product line inside our client, from development to Operation. The DBA (Database Admin) team is worldwide, and we are looking to reinforce our position in Europe, to perform the following activities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Develop methods and deploy and upgrade database architecture with pipelines and cloud base tools
• Provide support and operations for customers
• Participate in delivery projects for platform upgrades and migrations
• Support on call activity through follow the sun approach Services would be provided from client office and from supplier office when possible
• Develop pipelines for image deployment required for database deployment initiatives across different database techno with cloud base tools using (Gitlab, terraform, ansible, Linux) in multiple public cloud provider environments (GCP & AWS)
• Manage Database tasks related to project delivery
• Operation of Database clusters in public cloud (incident, change, patching, etc..)

Who you are?

• experience with managing database tasks
• experience with Oracle Dataguard, Oracle RAC, Active/Passive and Active/Active deployment
• experience with database Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra
• at least partial experience or familiarity with Gitlab / Terraform / Ansible
• experience with cloud technologies (AWS or GCP) will be a big advantage
• fluent communication in English
• willingness for On-call rotation support during weekends (approx. 1 weekend on-call duty per 2 months)
