Human Resources Business Partner (Part-Time)

Location: Remote

Reporting To: HR Head

Employment Type: Part-Time Contract


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing IT organization based in the UK and multiple other countries.

This is a remote role combining strategic HR partnership with strong hands-on HR operations expertise. The HRBP will work closely with senior leadership, engineering managers, and operational teams to drive people strategy, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leadership to align people strategy with business goals
  • Monitor closely with the department heads on their KPIs.
  • Guide organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Support leadership in managing change, scaling teams, and improving performance

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, contracts, policy management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity
  • Manage visa sponsorship and right-to-work compliance (where applicable)
  • Support audits and documentation requirements

Employee Relations & People Management

  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues
  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and team development
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant decision-making
  • Support conflict resolution and foster a positive work culture

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies for technical roles
  • Develop retention strategies for high-performing employees
  • Weekly performance reviews

Engagement & Culture

  • Support employees around the globe including Pakistan, UK and other countries.
  • Promote inclusive and diverse workplace practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and approachable HR presence and directly report to the CEO.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years as an HR Business Partner
  • Strong HR operations background within IT, SaaS, or technology organizations
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Solid Experience managing/defining KPIs and OKRs
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed environments
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR reporting tools


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fast-scaling or high-growth tech companies
  • Exposure to an international workforce support
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking in the tech industry
