Job Description

About the role

Our client is a global technology leader operating across industries and continents. Their North America People Operations team is seeking an experienced Dayforce contractor to support a period of critical HRIS work. You'll partner directly with the HR Director to stabilize and optimize the Dayforce environment — cleaning up configurations, ensuring data integrity, and enabling smooth day-to-day HR operations.

What you'll do

  • Execute employee onboarding and offboarding workflows end-to-end within Dayforce
  • Configure and audit PTO and accrual policies to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Perform system cleanup, including data corrections, duplicate resolution, and record reconciliation
  • Identify and troubleshoot configuration gaps or errors in Dayforce across HR and payroll modules
  • Document processes and provide recommendations for long-term system hygiene
  • Collaborate with HR leadership on ad hoc projects and requests as they arise

Required experience

  • Hands-on, working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce (not just adjacent HCM platforms)
  • Experience managing onboarding and offboarding within Dayforce
  • Proven ability to set up and troubleshoot PTO/accrual plans
  • Strong attention to detail with a background in HR data management
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities

Nice to have

  • Prior contractor or consulting experience in HRIS environments
  • Familiarity with North America payroll compliance
  • Experience supporting large, global organizations
  • Ability to document SOPs and train internal HR staff

Engagement details

  • Hourly, W-2 or 1099 engagement depending on contractor status
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in the continental US or Canada
  • Duration is open-ended based on scope of work and business need
  • Expected to overlap with standard US Eastern or Central business hours for collaboration

This role is not eligible for benefits, sponsorship, or conversion to full-time employment at this time.
