SAIC is seeking a dedicated and motivated Windows Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining, securing, and optimizing our organization’s Windows-based IT infrastructure. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and security of our systems and providing end-user support to meet organizational needs.
This position is fully remote and can be worked from anywhere in the United States

- Support Microsoft Windows servers (Server 2016/2019/2022) in virtualized and physical environments.
- Support issues and requests for Active Directory (including users, groups, policies), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to maintain uptime and reliability.
- Assist in ongoing activities related to compliance and security audits.
- Provide Tier 2 support for user-related issues involving Windows systems.
- Assist in onboarding new users by managing credentials, permissions, and shared resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support organizational objectives effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience, additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar role.
- ITIL V3 Foundations Certification or higher
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server (2016 and above).
- Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., SCCM, SCOM).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
