The role

We're hiring our first Talent Acquisition Lead to build the recruiting engine behind Nord Quantique's next chapter. You'll own the strategy, design the processes, and grow the team that brings in the scientists, engineers, and builders driving our mission forward.

You'll partner closely with technical leaders to anticipate hiring needs, translate them into sharp recruiting strategies, and make sure every candidate, hired or not, walks away with a great impression of Nord Quantique. You'll also shape the Talent Acquisition function itself: hiring and mentoring recruiters, setting up the tools, and establishing the practices that will carry us through significant growth.

What you'll do

• Build and lead the Talent Acquisition team
• Design a structured, scalable recruiting engine that holds up under high volume without cutting corners on candidate experience

• Partner with technical leadership on workforce planning and sourcing strategies for highly specialized roles
• Run the ATS, own the analytics, and use data to keep making the process better
• Collaborate with Marketing and leadership on employer branding and recruiting events
• Keep Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and HR Operations working as one smooth handoff from first contact through onboarding

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years in talent acquisition, ideally in tech or R&D-heavy environments
• 3+ years leading or mentoring recruiters
• A track record recruiting technical talent like engineers, researchers, specialists
• Experience scaling recruiting in a high-growth company
• Comfort working alongside technical leaders and translating their needs into strategy

• Salary: $128,500–$149,000
• Benefits: Group insurance (including dental), virtual care, and a lifestyle spending account (after 3 months)
• Working language: English and/or French
