π Hiring: Oracle Database Administrator (Exadata)
We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle Exadata to join our team. If you thrive in high-performance environments and enjoy solving complex database challenges, this role is for you.
π Role: Oracle Database Administrator (Exadata)
π Work Model: Open to FTE / FTC
βοΈ Travel Requirement: Minimum 2 days/month to Frankfurt (Relocation-friendly candidates preferred with valid work permit)
π§ Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support as an Oracle DBA on Exadata platforms
- Manage high-performance, high-capacity databases in critical environments
- Administer and support Oracle RAC (11gR1/R2) including build, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Handle Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) including CRS management and configuration
- Work extensively with Oracle ASM and Data Guard
- Perform database performance tuning (SQL & database level)
- Manage backup, recovery, and migration using RMAN, Data Pump, export/import
- Monitor and maintain databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM Grid Control)
- Support environments on Solaris, Linux, and AIX, including shell scripting
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Drive automation and scripting for database operations

π§ Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata
- Deep knowledge of RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GRID Infrastructure
- Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in database scripting and automation
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Experience in Change/Release Management (ITIL-based) β ITIL certification preferred
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Experience working in large corporate environments and with offshore teams
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative
