About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic, high-output Marketing Manager who can lead client relationships, own multi-platform retail media strategy, and develop junior marketers into high performers. This isn’t a “set it and forget it” media role—you’ll be the connective tissue between clients, platforms, data, and creative, managing a portfolio of CPG brands across a number of retail media networks simultaneously.
You’ll lead client growth strategy across a pod of accounts—advising on budgeting, attribution, product mix, forecasting, promotional calendars, and creative strategy across platforms like Instacart, Walmart Connect, DoorDash, KPM/8451, Roundel, Amazon, Sam’s Club, Casey’s, Dollar General, and more. You won’t just manage accounts—you’ll shape how we win for our clients, build the processes that scale us, and develop the team that makes it all happen.

What You’ll Actually Do
Lead Client Strategy & Relationships
- Own a portfolio of 10-12 CPG brand accounts, serving as the strategic lead and day-to-day point of contact
- Advise clients on retail media budget allocation, promotional strategy, product mix, attribution, and creative direction across multiple retailers
- Lead client calls and presentations with confidence—driving strategic conversations that go beyond campaign metrics into business outcomes
- Manage and advise on retail trade activations across your accounts
Own Multi-Platform Retail Media Execution

- Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns in collaboration with our Data & Media teams across 10+ retail media networks depending on the client (Instacart, Walmart Connect, DoorDash, KPM/8451, Roundel, Amazon, Casey’s, Dollar General, Circle K, Criteo, Social Nature, Ibotta, Sam’s Club, GoPuff, and more)
- Manage 6-figure monthly media budgets with a keen eye on pacing, ROAS, and incrementality, using client context and strategic thinking to advise the media and data teams on adjustments and optimizations
- Oversee digital shelf strategy—product listing optimization, review generation strategy, brand pages, and display programming
- Coordinate campaign briefs, creative asset development, and compliance across platforms
Build & Develop Your Team
- Manage and mentor Interns, Coordinators and Associates—balancing learning with output and creating clear development paths
- Lead weekly Marketing Pod meetings and cross-functional huddles between marketing, media/performance, and data teams
- Build and maintain internal training materials, SOPs, and onboarding processes on an ongoing basis to elevate your team and the company
Drive Platform & Partner Relationships
- Own strategic relationships with platform reps across every RMN—negotiating JBPs, activating new opportunities, and securing added value for clients
- Identify and champion innovative approaches, new platform betas, and cross-platform opportunities that differentiate Good Peeps
Drive Data, Reporting & Process
- Work hand-in-hand with the data team to build client performance recaps, shut-off tests, case studies, and attribution analyses
- Oversee budget trackers, spend/ROAS trackers, and own display programming calendars across your pod
- Leverage AI tools (yes, we use Claude) to automate as needed, streamline follow-ups, and build operational efficiency

You Might Be a Fit If…
- You have 2-3 years of experience in retail media, shopper marketing, or digital marketing—with at least 1-2 years in a client-facing leadership role
- You’ve worked across multiple retail media platforms (not just one)—and you can context-switch between Instacart and Walmart Connect and Roundel without missing a beat
- You’ve managed client portfolios and driven strategic growth beyond just campaign optimization—you think critically in terms of business outcomes, not just ROAS
- You’ve managed or mentored junior team members and find genuine satisfaction in developing people
- You’re highly organized and can manage 10+ accounts, multiple platform reps, and a team—all at the same time—without letting anything slip
- You have strong communication and presentation skills—you can lead a room, tell a compelling data story, and manage client expectations with confidence and warmth
- You’re a builder at heart—you don’t just execute processes, you create them and make them better
