Network Security Engineering

• Design and manage network security controls within data center environments

• Configure and support firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and segmentation strategies

• Implement multi-tenant network isolation and secure connectivity patterns

• Partner with security teams to align on policies, standards, and risk mitigation

Automation & DevOps

• Automate network and security operations using Python, Ansible, Git, and Jinja2

• Support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD for network provisioning

• Improve operational efficiency through automation and tooling

Monitoring, Performance & Reliability

• Monitor network and security health using telemetry and observability tools

• Perform packet analysis, performance tuning, and root cause analysis

• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards and best practices

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with Data Center, Security, and Infrastructure teams

• Support high-performance compute environments (HPC/AI workloads where applicable)

• Mentor junior engineers and lead during incident response scenarios

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience supporting large-scale data center or enterprise networks

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista platforms

• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and MPLS

• Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, proxies, load balancers, segmentation)

• Experience supporting WAN technologies (SD-WAN, segment routing, multi-tenant environments)

• Strong troubleshooting skills including packet analysis and performance optimization

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Python, Ansible, Git, Jinja2

• Network monitoring, telemetry, and observability platforms
