Principal Systems Analyst within Brokerage systems acting as a key bridge between Mainframe logic and Distributed architectures. This role is responsible for analyzing complex backend logic—primarily within COBOL and Mainframe systems—to define requirements, create technical stories, and determine event behaviors for modernizing Brokerage systems, specifically within Tax, Corporate Actions, Settlement, and Trade domains. Core Responsibilities:
Logic Analysis: Navigate and analyze existing COBOL and Mainframe code to determine system behavior and translate legacy logic into actionable user stories for modern platforms.
Data & Testing: Create test data and perform deep-dive log analysis across systems to validate event triggers and data flow.
