We are looking for a 2D Animator (Spine) to produce engaging animations for slot games, from symbols and transitions to pop-ups and basic infographics, while ensuring clean project structure and optimized assets.
Responsibilities
— Create high-quality 2D animations in Spine for slot game elements: symbols, transitions, pop-ups, and basic infographics
— Maintain production hygiene: clear project structure, naming, proper events, and clean JSON/atlas exports
— Perform basic optimization: control project footprint, pragmatic use of meshes/skins, tidy atlas management

— Collaborate closely with art leads, game designers, and developers in a single stream; iterate quickly on feedback
— Self-check animations using a quality checklist before review
Requirements
— 2–4 years of experience with Spine 2D in gamedev (slots, casual, or mobile)
— Portfolio with production examples (ideally shipped builds/projects)
— Solid understanding of composition, rhythm, timing, and secondary motion
— Experience with basic optimization for engine/device constraints; managing large symbol and pop-up sets
— Understanding of export and integration pipelines
— Spine 2D skills: skins, slots/bones, draw order, events, IK/constraints; meshes/weights used pragmatically
— Photoshop: preparing layers and sprites for Spine
— After Effects (basic): small VFX/previews; Trapcode, Saber, RTFX — a plus
— Optimization skills: atlas size control, minimizing duplicates
