Compensation range: $1,200 AUD - $1,800 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to require roughly 15-25 hours per week. As a contractor, you'll have flexibility in how you manage your schedule, but availability for occasional collaboration during AU business hours is preferred.

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on the execution of digital marketing activities and the coordination of key projects.
You will be the "engine room" for our campaigns, supporting management by keeping projects on track and ensuring all marketing collateral is polished and professional. From writing social media posts, executing social media schedules, copywriting, proofreading, assisting with website project milestones to writing engaging emails, you will play a vital role in the daily success of our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Campaign Execution
- Social Media Coordination: Write, execute and maintain social media schedules across various platforms, ensuring posts are on brand, formatted correctly and published on time
- Email Marketing (EDMs): Draft and set up email marketing campaigns, ensuring the copy is engaging, on-brand, and visually appealing
- SEO Quality Control: Review and proofread SEO articles to ensure high readability, correct grammar, and optimised to adhere to keyword strategies
- Project & Website Coordination
- Milestone Tracking: Assist in managing website project milestones (WordPress/Shopify), ensuring all internal tasks are progressing and deadlines are met
- Internal Liaison: Coordinate between the specialist, creative and technical teams to ensure all necessary assets (images, copy, links) are ready for project stages
- Project Documentation: Keep internal project management boards updated and ensure all campaign documentation is organised and accurate
- Client Liaison: Project updates, follow up outstanding information from clients, assist Account Managers with Client communication and attend meetings when required
- Management Support & Quality Assurance
- Administrative Support: Provide daily support to the management team by handling task coordination and follow-up of Clients, compiling and sending reports and general administrative tasks to support the business
- Meticulous Proofreading: Act as a final check for all digital content, including articles, website updates and reports, ensuring they are 100% error-free and on brand for each client
- Testing: Perform functional testing for website builds and email links before they move to final management approval

- Digital Marketing Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital marketing execution, ideally within an agency setting

- Website Awareness: A solid understanding of the website development process and how digital campaigns are structured
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading skills and a commitment to brand consistency
- Remote Fluency: A disciplined self-starter with a reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet and power backup, ready to work during Australian business hours
- Marketing Qualifications: Degree / certification for Marketing / Digital Marketing
