Forward Deployed Engineer
Full-time | Hybrid

$160,000 – $200,000 (depending on experience) + equity
About the Role
My client is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between their product and complex enterprise data environments. You’ll work directly with high-value clients—both on-site and remotely—to deploy the platform, design tailored workflows, and drive adoption.
This isn’t a traditional solutions or support role. You’ll operate with the autonomy of an early-stage engineer, building real integrations across client environments while feeding insights back into core product development.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end deployment within enterprise accounts, configuring the platform and integrating with existing data infrastructure
- Design and customise workflows (“blueprints”) to deliver value quickly
- Solve technical issues in real time across the stack (AWS, Snowflake, Docker, Python, APIs, etc.)
- Act as a key feedback loop to engineering—translating client challenges into product improvements
- Support pre-sales efforts with tailored demos and proof-of-concepts (e.g. data pipelines, analytics tools, AI-driven workflows)
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in a technical, client-facing role (solutions engineering, forward deployed, or similar)
- Strong experience with modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, AWS)
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and working with APIs
- Comfortable debugging across infrastructure and application layers
- Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong communication skills and client presence
