Type: Full-time 40 hrs

Location: Remote (EST business hours)

The Role:

We’re seeking a full-time SEO Specialist to lead and scale organic growth for Venveo’s client portfolio. This forward-thinking role blends traditional SEO—technical optimization, content strategy, and analytics—with AI-driven strategies, including AIO (AI Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), to drive organic traffic, improve search visibility, and generate leads while also improving AI visibility across search engines and LLM-powered experiences.


What You’ll Do:

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site speed, mobile usability, structured data, canonical issues)
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve technical SEO issues to maintain and improve site health
  • Ensure proper implementation of schema markup and structured data to support search engines and AI understanding


Keyword Research, Content Strategy & On-Page SEO

  • Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, clustering, and opportunity mapping
  • Develop and manage a data-driven content calendar
  • Optimize content using on-page SEO best practices (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking)
  • Build and optimize internal linking across topic clusters
  • Incorporate entity-based SEO strategies to strengthen topical authority and semantic relevance
  • Structure content to align with prompt-driven search behaviors and conversational queries


AIO & AEO:

  • Implement AI Optimization (AIO) using automation and AI tools to improve SEO efficiency and output
  • Optimize for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) including featured snippets, AI answers, and voice search
  • Develop strategies for AI visibility across search engines and LLM-based results using entity and prompt-aware optimization


Growth & Performance

  • Identify and execute SEO growth opportunities to increase traffic, rankings, and conversions
  • Track performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Monitor rankings, impressions, clicks, and engagement metrics
  • Deliver monthly SEO reports with insights and next steps


Must-Haves:

  • Experience with keyword research, clustering, and search intent analysis
  • Solid understanding of entity-based SEO and semantic search
  • Experience optimizing for AI-driven search, LLMs, and conversational/prompt-based queries
  • Proven ability to improve organic traffic, rankings, and AI/search visibility
  • Hands-on experience with technical SEO audits and optimization
  • Proficiency with SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs
  • Proficiency with analytics tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio
  • Experience with CMS platforms: Craft CMS, WordPress, or similar
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain SEO strategies clearly
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
