SEO Growth Specialist

We’re looking for a results-driven SEO Growth Specialist to join the fast-growing Cosmo team. In this role, you’ll own and scale our organic growth engine — driving high-intent traffic, improving search visibility, and turning content into a measurable acquisition channel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic
• Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headers, and internal linking
• Produce and publish high-quality content (articles, landing pages, topic clusters) — writing directly or managing an editor to maintain consistent output velocity
• Identify and pursue link building opportunities to improve overall domain authority growth
• Monitor and analyze organic performance metrics; translate data into actionable optimizations and strategic recommendations

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEM, or SEO
• Background in education, edtech, or a consumer-facing (B2C) product
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
• Strong understanding of paid search and organic search strategies

Work Arrangement & Compensation

• Location: fully remote
• Schedule: 40 hours per week with flexible schedule
• Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Compensation: $30-50 per hour
