About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer with a minimum of five years of experience in graphic design and web development, preferably within association or healthcare-related industries. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading the visual development and execution of NATA’s major campaigns, digital presence, and brand identity initiatives. This role combines strategic creative leadership with hands-on design expertise to produce compelling visuals that align with our organizational goals and brand standards. The successful candidate will oversee the creation of digital and print assets, manage website design standards, and support organization-wide branding efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the visual identity of a prominent industry association while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design and web development
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with digital design tools and web platforms
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, and layout principles
- Experience designing for websites and CMS platforms
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in nonprofit or association environments is preferred
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus
- Experience with Canva is preferred

- Lead the visual development and execution of NATA’s four annual campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
- Develop and present multiple creative concepts for leadership review, translating strategic goals into cohesive visual systems.
- Create campaign visuals including social media graphics, advertisements, print, and digital assets, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Design and maintain visual standards for NATA-managed websites, including layout, navigation, and visual elements supporting usability and accessibility.
- Manage the visual organization of the NATA Member Resource Library for clarity and ease of use.
- Collaborate with IT and web teams to implement approved website designs and resolve technical issues.
- Serve as a steward of NATA’s brand identity, designing logos, merchandise graphics, and visual identities for products, events, and collaborations.
- Provide organization-wide graphic design support, including infographics, toolkits, advertisements, banners, and presentations for committees and staff.
- Develop promotional assets for districts and states, ensuring alignment with national branding standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and adherence to standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline design workflows and improve templates for efficiency.
- Complete additional duties as assigned, reflecting senior-level design responsibilities and organizational needs.
