Job Description
About Era LLC
Era LLC is a Japan-based B2B trading company that exports Japanese cosmetics and beauty products to distributors, wholesalers, e-commerce sellers, and retailers around the world.
- We operate Omakase Japan Wholesale Platform, our cross-border B2B platform for international buyers sourcing Japanese beauty products.
- Our goal is not only to list products online. We aim to make Omakase Japan Wholesale Platform a trusted sourcing platform for international buyers looking for Japanese cosmetics.
About the Role
We are looking for a Brand Strategy and Web Marketing professional to shape how Omakase Japan Wholesale Platform is seen by overseas buyers.
This is not a social media posting role. It is not only a website update role. You will work on brand positioning, website structure, content planning, customer journey, email, social media, influencer initiatives, and sales materials.
The core question is simple:
Why should an overseas buyer source Japanese cosmetics through Omakase Japan Wholesale Platform?
Your role is to make that answer clear, credible, and visible across our digital and sales channels.
What You Will Do
- Define and refine the brand concept of Omakase Japan
- Improve the website structure, service pages, product pages, and landing pages
- Design customer journeys that lead to inquiries and business conversations
- Plan content for overseas buyers, including category features, brand introductions, news, and case studies
- Plan and operate social media and email marketing initiatives
- Improve sales decks, company profiles, and service materials
- Plan influencer initiatives and repurpose content into long-term brand assets
- Use Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools to review performance
- Work with external designers, creators, and production partners
- Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to reflect real customer needs
What You Will Own
- Consistent messaging across website, social media, email, and sales materials
- Clear positioning of Omakase Japan as a Japanese cosmetics sourcing platform
- Better inquiry flow from overseas buyers
- Content that builds trust, not just traffic

What We're Looking
- ForPractical experience in brand strategy, brand marketing, content marketing, or B2B / platform marketing
- Track record of treating web and SNS as brand-building tools, not update tasks
- Ability to identify what's missing, design a plan, and execute it without waiting for instructions
- Comfort working with both numbers (analytics, conversion) and craft (copy, visual direction)
- Strong sense of how international buyers perceive a Japanese B2B company
Nice to Have
- Marketing experience in cosmetics, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors
- Cross-border e-commerce or international SNS experience
- Hands-on experience with Wix Studio, Shopify, WordPress, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, or email marketing tools
- Influencer campaign planning experience
- Ability to review and direct English-language content
- Design tool fluency (Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Why This Role
Most brand manager roles are tied to a single product line. This one isn't. You'll be building the brand of a sourcing platform — defining what it means to source Japanese cosmetics from Omakase Japan.
The business foundation is already in place: JPY 500M in annual revenue, an EU entity, direct relationships with Japanese manufacturers, and a growing international buyer base. What you design here goes live and shows up in real inquiries, real orders, and real customer relationships.
Portfolio
Explore our comprehensive directory of visa sponsorship jobs from employers worldwide who are ready to sponsor talented international professionals.
A portfolio is welcome but not required. If you have examples of websites, landing pages, social media projects, brand materials, marketing proposals, or improvement plans, we would be happy to review them.
Who this role fit
This role is a good fit for someone who can think beyond posting content.
We are looking for someone who can connect branding, website structure, copy, content, data, and sales outcomes. You should care not only about how a page looks, but also about whether it helps overseas buyers understand, trust, and contact us.
- Compensation & BenefitsSalary: JPY 4,000,000 – 8,000,000 (based on experience)
- No fixed or deemed overtime allowance — overtime is paid as worked
- Bonus twice per year
- Annual salary review
- 125 days off per year (weekends, public holidays, year-end, summer)
- Paid leave
- Core hours: 11:00 – 16:00, flexible outside core hours
- Commuting allowance, car commute permitted, on-site parking
- Casual dress code
- Social insurance, pension, annual health check-up
- Side work permitted (different industry, outside working hours only)
- Visa sponsorship and application fees fully covered by the company
