Position Title: Software Developer II
Location: 100% Remote
Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance (Required)
Position Status: Long-Term Contract

Position Description: We are hiring multiple Software Developer II professionals to support a newly awarded federal program focused on delivering advanced background investigation solutions. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance data systems supporting mission-critical government operations.
In this role, you will work within an Agile environment to build and optimize full-stack applications, data pipelines, and reporting solutions. You will play a key role in architecting the data layer, integrating legacy and cloud-based systems, and ensuring data reliability, performance, and security.
This position is ideal for developers with strong expertise in .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and ETL/data engineering, who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET and Angular
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and database solutions
  • Develop advanced T-SQL queries, including stored procedures, views, and triggers
  • Create and support reporting solutions (SSRS) and data visualization components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
  • Integrate legacy systems with modern cloud environments ensuring high availability and performance
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications and databases
  • Document technical designs, data lineage, and system processes for compliance and transparency
  • Troubleshoot production issues and recommend system improvements
Required Skills/Education:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance (Required)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio
  • 5+ years of Angular development experience
  • Experience developing custom web-based applications
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL development
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
  • Front-end experience with JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps / Azure DevOps for CI/CD and workload management
  • Knowledge of data integration, system architecture, and API development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
