About the Role

We are seeking an Email Marketing Manager to own and lead our email marketing function across multiple brands and association partners. This role is responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and performance tracking of high-volume email campaigns, with a focus on continuous improvement through innovative thinking, testing, and data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in leveraging AI tools to enhance email marketing strategy, content creation, and performance optimization, and has strong hands-on experience with Mailchimp or a comparable platform.

Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing Ownership & Planning

  • Own the marketing research, planning, scheduling, and execution of an annual email marketing strategy and campaign calendar across multiple brands and subscriber lists
  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and approval processes to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently
  • Maintain and optimize subscriber lists, including segmentation and targeting

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Concept, develop, and execute email campaigns, including promotional and product-focused initiatives
  • Write and test subject lines, email copy, and calls-to-action
  • Design and develop email content, including layout and imagery
  • Build and deploy campaigns using email marketing platforms and/or HTML/CSS
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards and industry best practices

Delivery & Optimization

  • Manage deployment of email campaigns and automation workflows
  • Monitor deliverability, engagement, and performance metrics
  • Troubleshoot issues related to delivery or formatting
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track and analyze campaign performance using email analytics and lead/sales data
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on results
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize messaging, timing, and design

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support broader marketing initiatives across digital channels
  • Assist with marketing calendar planning and campaign coordination
  • Contribute to website updates, social media, and other marketing projects as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • 5–10 years of experience in email marketing, campaign management, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency with Mailchimp or a comparable email marketing platform
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience using AI tools to support marketing strategy, content development, and optimization
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
