About The Role
We are seeking a driven and mission-focused Video Editor/Motion Designer to join our dynamic production team. This pivotal role involves creating compelling visual stories that align with Prison Fellowship’s mission of encountering Jesus with those impacted by incarceration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high-quality editing, light motion graphics support, and ensuring polished final outputs suitable for multiple platforms including social media, web, broadcast, and ministry environments. The role requires a disciplined approach to content organization, a keen sense of storytelling, and modern digital pacing skills. Additionally, the Video Editor/Motion Designer will responsibly utilize GenAI tools to enhance productivity while maintaining adherence to ministry policies. This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility and scalability within an agile workflow, and offers opportunities to contribute meaningfully to a faith-based mission that seeks to bring hope and transformation to incarcerated individuals and their families.
Qualifications
- 5‑7 years of professional experience in video or film editing
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated portfolio of work that meets industry standards and showcases storytelling skills
- Extensive knowledge of digital cinematography and proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong understanding of video storytelling techniques and post-production processes
- Familiarity with color correction, audio mixing, and special effects integration
- Knowledge of media management technologies and platforms for efficient content organization
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Robust problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical and creative challenges
- Experience working within AI-assisted workflows and understanding of ministry policy guidelines
