SEO Marketing Intern

Calling All Awesome Marketing Interns!!!

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and self-motivated SEO Marketing Intern to support our team with website optimization and backend updates on Squarespace.

The program is a 3-month remote internship, during which you will assist in fulfilling various digital marketing tasks for your mentioned business for 10 hours per week. This is an unpaid program whose end goal is to provide students with a higher chance of getting hired in the digital marketing space after completing our apprenticeship program.

What You’ll Do?

• Assist with on-page SEO optimization (meta descriptions, keywords, alt text, internal linking)
• Support updates and edits to our Squarespace website (formatting, content uploads, page builds)
• Identify opportunities to improve search visibility and user experience
• Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis
• Monitor and report on website performance metrics (with guidance)
• Help with link-building and partnership marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SEO principles (coursework or self-taught is welcome)
• Experience with Squarespace or similar CMS platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of website structure and content strategy
