Job Description
You’ll be working directly with our backend systems, APIs, databases, and client dashboard infrastructure to investigate issues, diagnose root causes, and ship real fixes. You’ll collaborate closely with the lead developer, learn the architecture of a growing group of companies, and play a key role in improving the stability and performance of our platform. You will be working for a subsidiary of the Vertus.ai group.
This role is ideal for someone who loves debugging, enjoys solving technical puzzles, and wants meaningful ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by clients
- Debug backend systems across APIs, databases, application logic, and integrations
- Identify root causes and implement reliable, maintainable fixes
- Improve existing backend functionality and internal workflows
- Work with REST APIs, backend integrations, and production systems
- Write clean, maintainable Python code
- Troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases and optimize SQL queries
- Collaborate through GitHub, pull requests, and version control
- Document findings, fixes, and recurring edge cases
- Work directly with the lead developer to understand platform-specific logic and architecture

- Strong Python development experience
