About The Role

We are looking to recruit an Intern Game Developer who is passionate and driven to bring our vision to reality. This is a paid, full-time remote internship designed to provide hands-on experience in game development within a dynamic and creative environment. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced development team to code tools and game scripts in popular game engines like Unity. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a real-world setting, contribute to exciting projects, and gain valuable industry experience that can serve as a stepping stone for your career in game development.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for video game development and demonstrate a keen interest in learning and growing within the industry. Basic knowledge of Unity and C# programming is essential, along with an understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. The candidate should be able to quickly grasp new tools and software, exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, and work effectively in a remote team environment. A background in computer science, software engineering, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory if you have demonstrated skills and enthusiasm for game development.

Responsibilities

• Code tools and game scripts within Unity or similar game engines to enhance gameplay and development workflows.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to translate creative concepts into functional game features.
• Assist in debugging and testing game features to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Participate in team meetings, providing updates on progress and sharing ideas for new features or improvements.
• Document code and processes to facilitate future development and maintenance efforts.
