We are seeking a Program Coordinator of Student Onboarding and Persistence to join our EdPlus Operations team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by supporting the day-to-day execution of onboarding activities, orientation, and persistence-related initiatives to ensure a seamless, high-quality student experience.
You will be responsible for operational delivery, coordination, and implementation of workstreams led by the Program Manager, ensuring that orientation runs smoothly and persistence initiatives are executed accurately and on time. You will work closely with EdPlus teams and ASU partners to carry out defined plans, maintain systems and content, and support continuous improvement efforts through reliable execution and feedback.
NOTE: This is an in-person, hybrid position. You must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale AZ.
Essential Duties
Execute day-to-day orientation operations
- Manage the build, QA, and deployment of orientation in Canvas.
- Maintain orientation content, modules, and assets for accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate term readiness (dates, links, announcements, access).
- Troubleshoot issues impacting student access or completion.
- Monitor orientation, participation, and completion daily/weekly.
- Support updates based on Program Manager recommendations.
- Execute defined persistence interventions (content updates, nudges, process changes).
- Implement changes across platforms (Canvas, email, tools) as directed.
- Support pilots and tests by preparing materials and tracking execution.
- Ensure consistency across touchpoints aligned to provided standards

- Work with Enrollment, Student Success, Instructional Design, Marketing, Technology, and Action Lab to complete tasks.
- Track requests, timelines, and dependencies for assigned work.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed.
- Escalate risks or blockers to the Program Manager.
- Manage Canvas shells, templates, and assets.
- Update links, resources, and policy references.
- Maintain trackers, documentation, and process guides.
- Support system updates and integrations as needed.
- Pull and compile routine reports (participation, completion, engagement).
- Monitor key indicators and flagging anomalies or drops in performance.
- Maintain dashboards or trackers used by the team.
- Provide data inputs for analysis led by the Program Manager.
- Draft and schedule student-facing communications (emails, announcements).
- Ensure messages are accurate, timely, and aligned to guidance.
- Coordinate communication timelines across teams.
- Update messaging based on feedback and direction,
- Conduct QA reviews of orientation and related materials.
- Ensure alignment with accessibility standards and institutional guidelines.
- Identify inconsistencies or issues and propose fixes.
- Support a smooth, consistent experience across student touchpoints.

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines with attention to detail.
- Experience working in online higher education.
- Experience supporting program operations or student success initiatives.
- Evidence of familiarity with Canvas or similar learning platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to follow defined processes while adapting to changing needs.
- Demonstrated strong written communication skills.
- Demonstrated comfort working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Evidence of basic data tracking and reporting skills.
